On my mind is belief. Today my coach and I discussed philosophy of religion and what it means to take that leap toward theism or atheism. To me, it seems like regardless of the argument, there’s always a subjective leap past that last, inconclusive thought. Right before you reach the absolute truth, both sides must settle with what we’re capable of understanding and choose what to be convinced of. A beautiful illustration of free will and the power of belief.

There is something so deep and personal about that subjective leap past that last, inconclusive thought. This makes me think that atheism and theism looks so different for everybody. We can't really know if our concept of God is the same as another's God (or atheism, non-God), even if we're within the same thought tradition. I think that is the beauty of being alive. It means that we each have a special relationship with our world, however we choose our world to look, and we have the power to build that relationship.
